Ucraina îi cere companiei Apple să oprească accesul la serviciile sale în Rusia

Prim Vice Președintele Ucrainei, Mykhailo Fedorov a scris o scrisoare către compania Apple, mai exact către Tim Cook prin care cere ajutorul ca toate serviciile Apple să fie oprite în Rusia, iar accesul la App Store să fie restricționat și el astfel încât rușii să nu mai poată comunica.

I appeal to you and I am sure you will not only hear, but also do everything possible to protect Ukraine, Europe, and finally, the entire democratic world from bloody authoritarian aggression – to stop suppling Apple services and products to the Russian Federation, including blocking access to App Store!

We are sure that such actions will motivate youth and active population of Russia to proactively stop the disgraceful military aggression.

Știm că Rusia a cerut express să aibe acces la conținutul din App Store, Apple a fost nevoită să își creeze propriul site în Rusia unde poate vinde iPhone modificate cu aplicații preinstalate de guvernul rus, precum și un magazin de aplicații dedicat.

Momentan, Tim Cook a postat pe Twitter un mesaj de solidaritate pentru Ucraina, dar nimic despre cererea lui Mykhailo Fedorov de a bloca serviciile Apple pentru Rusia.

I am deeply concerned with the situation in Ukraine. We’re doing all we can for our teams there and will be supporting local humanitarian efforts. I am thinking of the people who are right now in harm’s way and joining all those calling for peace.
